Hey there, i'm bryce punsalan —
a designer, dreamer, and problem-solver.
I was born and raised in the small town of Sykesville, Maryland. Growing up, I quickly learned that everyone has a story to tell and it’s incredibly important to be open to change and new ideas — no matter who or where they come from.
I developed an interest for design when I was in middle school, visiting my district’s career and technical school where I discovered their print production program. I enrolled soon after in high school and grew immediately attached to the software and hardware used in design. The printers, paper cutters, and vast capabilities of the software were a real attention-grabber to young me.
It wasn’t until my sophomore year of college where I learned to love and find a passion for design though. After taking an Introduction to Psychology course, I became fascinated with the way people think, feel, and behave wondering how the design of all the products around us could help lead us to more fulfilling lives. I graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design and a minor in User Experience Design and Spanish.
Outside of design, I enjoy reading, binging tv, spending time with my friends and family, and exploring the outdoors through travel and hiking. I’m always open to collaborating with others if time allows, so don’t hesitate to reach out so we can chat! Perhaps we can grab a coffee if we’re close by.
